This makes the placement of the second base somewhat awkward. GC maps were made by Petroglyph to be maps with one main base and areas for attacking forces to land and destroy the base. Another problem with this map is that it wasn't meant for skirmish. Empire at War skirmish maps need structure build pads to work properly, but the Bly has only put the special structures there. It looks nice and has all the structures, but Bly has put the wrong types of buildings on the map. As you might have guessed from those two sentences, this map conversion was not done properly.
